Maine Medical Partners - Neurosurgery & Spine is currently seeking a BC/BE fellowship-trained, Spine Neurosurgeon. The ideal candidate would be 4-10 years out of residency with a minimally invasive focus. As an attending physician at MMP Neurosurgery and Spine research is encouraged and will be supported as developed.

Maine Medical Partners - Neurosurgery & Spine provides compassionate, high-quality and personalized care to the people of Maine and northern New England with disorders of the brain and spine. This well-established practice offers patients the most innovative and sophisticated neurosurgical techniques with the highest level of expertise and experience.

The candidate will join 9 Neurosurgeons with fellowship training and clinical focus in complex spine, including pediatric and adult spinal deformity surgery, functional neurosurgery, tumor and skull base surgery, cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery and the only Pediatric Neurosurgeon in Maine.  

The practice offers a multi-specialty approach to conservative treatments of spine conditions, and provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of spine and musculoskeletal disorders. The team of highly trained physiatrists, osteopaths, advanced practice providers, physical therapists, and nurses work together to offer alternative treatment options to patients, whenever appropriate.  As a specialty practice, they work closely with primary care and other providers, providing the best service and medical care to patients and the community through the unified effort of the entire team.

Neurosurgery & Spine is part of the Neuroscience Service Line at Maine Health and Maine Medical Center, a regional center of excellence in neurosciences. The practice is an integral component of the health system, providing the residents of Maine and northern New England state-of-the-art care for disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system.  The Neuroscience Service line is built on a partnership between all the MaineHealth system hospitals, community-based physicians and nearly all the surrounding communities’ hospitals focusing on three major areas: clinical/patient care, medical education and research.
